How do I validate my phone number?
Bovada maintains a high standard of security to safeguard your private information. Certain actions on your account will prompt us to send a text (SMS) message to your registered mobile phone number in order to validate your identity. This can occur when:
- Signing up an account with us
- You update your Profile
- Requesting a withdrawal of your winnings
When you receive a text message from Bovada, all you need to do is enter the code provided into the field displayed onsite, then click ‘Verify Now’. If necessary, you’re allotted a maximum of 3 attempts to enter the correct SMS code and 3 resend code requests.
You’ll need to validate your identity in order to complete the above actions. Should you choose not to, a reminder and the option to follow through will remain visible on your Dashboard; just click the profile icon at the top of any page.
Should your phone number not validate through this process, your action cannot be completed and you’ll need to contact Customer Service for further assistance.
