Soccer Betting Rules
1. Match Betting: All soccer matches are based on results at the end of 90 minutes of play, unless otherwise stated. This includes any added injury or stoppage time. However, it does not include extra time, time allocated for a penalty shootout or a golden goal.
The exceptions to this rule are in relation to friendly matches. These matches will be settled based on the actual result when the game finishes (excluding any extra time), regardless of whether the full 90 minutes are played. This also includes beach soccer, where matches are specifically settled on 36 minutes of play only.
If a match is played in a non-standard format, i.e. 3 or 4 periods, then all ‘Half’ related markets will be graded as 'No Action'. If a match is scheduled to be played for longer than 90 minutes, i.e. 3x 40 minute periods, then all ‘Total’ markets will be graded as 'No Action'.
2. Postponed and Abandoned Matches: If any match is postponed, all bets on that match will be graded as ‘No Action’. Any match that does not kick off at the scheduled start time, but is played on the same day it is scheduled to do so will not be deemed a postponement. Exceptions to these rules are matches played in the below competitions, for which bets will stand if the match is played within 24 hours of the scheduled fixture;
- FIFA World Cup
- UEFA European Championships
- African Cup of Nations
- Any UK domestic cup final/playoff match
- UEFA Champions League or Europa League matches (group stages onwards)
Any match abandoned before the completion of 90 minutes play will be graded as 'No Action', except for matches that are resumed within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, or those wagers where the outcome has already been determined at the time of abandonment.
3. Venue Change: If a match venue is changed (other than to the away team's location), then wagers already placed will stand, provided the home team is still the home team. If the home and away team for a listed match are reversed (e.g., the match is played at the original away team's ground), then wagers placed based on the original match listing will be graded as 'No Action'.
4. First/Last/Anytime Goalscorer:
- First Goalscorer: Players who do not play or who enter the game after the first goal will be graded as 'No Action'.
- Last/Anytime Goalscorer: Players who do not play any part will be graded as 'No Action'.
- If a match is abandoned after a goal, all bets on the First Goal and No Goal wagers will stand. However, all bets on the Last Goal will be refunded. If a match is abandoned without any goal at all, all bets on the First, Last and No Goal will be graded as 'No Action'. Own goals don’t count.
5. Scorecasts: These are “Player to Score First” and the “Correct Score” wagers. Any player who doesn’t play or who enters the game after the first goal is scored will be settled as 'No Action'. Other choices upon request. Own goals do not count.
6. Timecast: Player who scores first and at the correct time. Any player who doesn’t play or who enters the game after the first goal is scored will be graded as 'No Action'. Other selections upon request. Own goals do not count. Zero score by the teams will be settled as a 'Loss'.
7. Double Chance: Bets on two of three possible outcomes from three options available (e.g., home win or draw, away win or draw, or home win or away win).
8. Time of First Goal: Goal times are settled per www.flashscore.com.
9. Team to Record a Shutout Win: Predict if the team will win the match and not allow any goals.
10. Total Corners Line: The number of corners is decided by the total number of corners attempted in the home/away team’s match. Retaken corners are counted as one. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
11. Total Bookings Line: The cards shown to non-players (e.g., substitute/ reserve, manager or coach) don’t count towards the total. Booking points are calculated as such: 1 yellow card = 1 point and 1 red card = 2 points. The maximum points count per player is 3 points.
12. First Yellow Card: If the booking is a straight red card, it‘s regarded as a red card but not a yellow card. If there are two or more players receiving a booking for the same incident, then the player who is shown the first yellow card by the ref is deemed the outcome.
13. Man Of The Match: Unless otherwise stated, it will be settled according to the result declared by the official source listed on www.UEFA.com.
14. Team to Win Both Halves: This wager requires you to select the team to win in both the first and second halves, separately. This means that your selection must score more goals than the opposing team at the end of each half, or 45 minutes of play, including injury time.
15. Asian Handicaps: The handicap applies to the final match result and the team with the most goals after the handicap is applied is the winner. If the number of goals for each team is level after the handicap is applied, it will be a push with the stake returned. There are three types of Asian handicaps:
- Whole Ball Handicaps
- Example: Team A -3.0, Team B +3.0
- If Team A wins by four or more goals, then all bets on Team A will be a win and bets on Team B will be a loss.
- If Team A wins by exactly three goals, then all bets on the market will be pushed and the wager stake returned on both sides.
- Example: Team A -3.0, Team B +3.0
- Half Ball Handicaps
The handicap is applied to the final result of the match and the team with the most goals after the handicap has been applied will be the winner.
- Example: Team A -1.5, Team B +1.5
- If Team A wins by two or more goals, then all wagers on Team A will be a win and wagers on Team B will be a loss.
- If Team A wins by exactly one goal, the match ends in a draw, or if Team B wins the match, then all wagers on Team B will be a win and wagers on Team A will be a loss.
- Example: Team A -1.5, Team B +1.5
- Split Ball Handicaps (Quarter Balls)
A Split Ball handicap, otherwise referred to as a Quarter Ball, is the level of favoritism between a half ball and a whole ball. Here, your stake is split equally between the whole ball and half ball handicaps.
- Example: Team A -1.0,-1.5, Team B +1.0,+1.5
- If you place a $100 wager on Team A -1.0,-1.5, then your wager is split into two $50 wagers. The first bet is on the Whole Ball Handicap (Team A -1.0), and the second bet is on the Half Ball Handicap (Team A -1.5).
- If Team A wins by two or more goals, then all bets on Team A are a win and wagers on Team B are a loss.
- If Team A wins by exactly one goal, then the risk on Team A -1.0 will be refunded and the stake on Team A -1.5 will be a loss. The risk on Team B +1.0 is refunded and the stake on Team B +1.5 is a win.
- If the match ends in a draw or Team B wins the match, then all bets on Team B are a win and wagers on Team A are a loss.
- Example: Team A -1.0,-1.5, Team B +1.0,+1.5

16. Related Contingency: You cannot combine Spreads, Moneylines and Totals from the same soccer game in a parlay or multiple bet, even if the odds are from different segments of the game. Any bet that constitutes being a correlated wager by us is void and a refund is issued, regardless of the wager outcome.
17. Mythical Match An imaginary match that involves two teams who will not be playing against each other. The result of this match will be decided by the number of goals scored by the teams involved in their actual fixtures on the same calendar day.
Rules:
- If both teams score the same number of goals, the 'draw' option is the winner.
- If a match is postponed, regular postponed match rules apply.
- If a match is abandoned, regular abandoned match rules apply.
18. Match Stats: Wagers on Attempts, Attempts on Target, Offsides and Tackles will be settled using the final stats published on whoscored.com.
