Motor Sports Betting Rules
General Rules:
1. The start of the race is the signal to commence the warm up/formation lap. If a driver is not on the grid or ready to start from the pit lane when the signal is given, all bets on that selection will be void.
2. If a race is abandoned and no presentation position or official result is declared all bets on that race will be void except for bets on any markets which have already been determined.
3. Bets will be settled on the official result of the relevant governing body, at the time of the podium presentation regardless of any subsequent adjustments.
4. If the scheduled venue is changed after a bet is placed, all bets will be void.
5. On H2H bets the driver who finishes ahead or completes the most number of laps is deemed to be the winner, both drivers must start.
6. In Speedway, bets will be void if all scheduled heats or races of a meeting are not completed except on markets which have already been determined.
7. In any case where there is no podium presentation, but the market states that settlement of the relevant market will be based on the result at the time of the podium presentation, then the market will be settled on the official result of the relevant governing body regardless of any subsequent amendments to the result.
NASCAR:
1. a. The official NASCAR result at the end of the race will be used for settlement purposes. This includes any race which is halted prematurely for any reason. Any subsequent adjustments to finishing positions will not count.
b. Any drivers who do not qualify for the race will be deemed no action.
c. Races must run within seven days of the originally scheduled start time for wagers to have action.
d. ‘The Field’ includes any driver not listed in the betting.
2. Cup Series Championship: Bets will be settled according to the official Championship result at the podium presentation following the final race of the season, as per NASCAR rules. All wagers have action.
3. Top 2/3/5/10 Finish: Bets will be settled based on the official NASCAR result at the end of the race. Any subsequent adjustments to finishing positions will not count.
4. Race Props: Race props will be settled based on official NASCAR results at the end of the race (e.g. race specials, cautions, lead changes, number of leaders, lead lap related markets, winning car number etc.). Any subsequent adjustments to finishing positions will not count. If a race is shortened and no official results are posted then all bets will be deemed no action.
5. Winning Manufacturer: All bets will be settled based on the manufacturer of the driver who wins the race.
6. Winning Team: All bets will be settled based on the team of the driver who wins the race.
7. Stage 1 / 2 Winner: The official NASCAR result at the end of the specified stage will be used for settlement purposes.
8. Race H2Hs: All bets will be settled as per the official NASCAR result at the end of the race. If one driver fails to complete the race then the other driver will be declared the winner. Where both drivers fail to complete the race then the number of full laps completed will determine the result. If both drivers retire on the same lap then the official placing as determined by the official NASCAR result will be used for settlement purposes. Both drivers must start the race (e.g. cross the start line) for bets to have action.
9. Group Betting: Bets will be settled based on the driver achieving the highest position at the end of the race, in accordance with the official NASCAR result. If all drivers in the group fail to complete the race then the driver completing the most laps will be deemed the winner. If all drivers in the group fail to complete the race and two or more drivers complete the same number of laps then dead-heat rules apply. Drivers are grouped together for betting purposes only. Rule 4 may apply.
10. Starting Grid Position of Winner: All bets will be settled based on the starting grid position of the driver who wins the race.
11. Pole Position: If the Qualifying session does not take place, all bets will be void.
Formula One:
1. a. For settlement purposes, the official classification from the FIA will be used at the time of the podium presentation. Any subsequent adjustments (penalties, disqualifications etc.) to grid positions will not count.
b. All drivers who start the formation lap are deemed to have action.
c. In the event of a driver switching teams during the lead up to a race, all bets placed after the announcement but prior to these changes being factored into the betting will be deemed no action.
d. Races must run within seven days of the originally scheduled start time for wagers to have action.
2. Drivers Championship: Bets will be settled according to the official Championship result at the podium presentation following the final race of the season, as per FIA rules. All wagers have action.
3. Constructors Championship: Bets will be settled according to the official Championship result at the podium presentation following the final race of the season, as per FIA rules. All wagers have action.
4. Season H2Hs: Bets will be settled according to the official Championship result at the podium presentation following the final race of the season, as per FIA rules. Both drivers must start the first race for action.
5. Top 3/6/10 Finish: Bets will be settled based on the official classification from the FIA at the time of the podium presentation. Any subsequent adjustments to grid positions will not count.
6. Fastest Qualifier/Qualifying Winning Car: Official qualifying times as recorded by the FIA will be used for settlement purposes. Only times recorded during the third session count. In the event of recorded times being identical, then official FIA places will apply. If for any reason the third session does not take place, bets will be settled on the official grid as formed by the FIA. Subsequent grid position penalties/disqualifications do not apply for settlement purposes. Drivers must start the first session of qualifying for bets to stand.
7. Both Team Drivers To Finish In Top 3/6/10: Bets will be settled based on the official classification from the FIA at the time of the podium presentation. Any subsequent adjustments to grid positions will not count.
8. Fastest Lap/Fastest Lap - Team: This market will be settled based on the driver who sets the fastest single lap of the race. The official FIA result at the time of the podium presentation will be used.
9. Leader After First/Five/Ten Laps: For settlement purposes the winner is deemed to be the driver leading the race as they cross the start/finish line after the specified number of laps in accordance with the FIA's official Race Lap Chart. In the event of the specified number of laps not being completed all bets will be void. In the event that a race starts under safety car conditions, bets on Leader After First Lap will be void. Formation laps do not count.
10. Winning Car: All bets will be settled based on the team of the driver who wins the race.
11. Winning Margin: Bets will be settled according to the official FIA timings.
12. Most Team Points: Bets will be settled on the combined points total of both drivers within a manufacturer's team. Any points gained from the Sprint will not count towards settlement of this market.
13. Qualifying Session One/Two Winner: Official qualifying times as recorded by the FIA will be used for settlement purposes. Drivers must start the specified session for bets to have action.
14. To Reach Qualifying Session 3: Official qualifying times as recorded by the FIA will be used for settlement purposes. Drivers must start the first qualifying session for bets to have action. Should there be a change to the normal qualifying session schedule, all bets on this market will be made void.
15. Free Practice One/Two/Three Winner: Bets will be settled based on the official FIA classification.
16. Grid Position of Winner: All bets will be settled based on the starting grid position of the driver who wins the race.
17. Winning Nationality: All bets will be settled based on the nationality of the driver who wins the race.
18. Will Any Driver Complete The Hat Trick: This market relates to whether any driver can complete a race hat trick by setting the fastest race qualifying time, setting the fastest lap and winning the race. Any Sprint race or qualifying will not count.
19. Safety Car Period During Race: The Safety Car will be deemed to have been used if Race Control signal for the car to join the track. In the event that a race starts under safety car conditions, bets will be made void. Virtual Safety Car periods do not count.
20. Virtual Safety Car Period During Race: A Virtual Safety Car period will be deemed to have been used if Race Control signal for a VSC period. In the event that a race starts under VSC conditions, bets will be made void. Normal Safety Car periods do not count.
21. How Many Safety Car Periods During The Race: Virtual Safety Car periods do not count.
22. Number of Classified Drivers/To Finish The Race/Both Cars To Finish The Race: Official FIA classification will be used to determine settlement. Drivers that have failed to complete 90% or more of the number of laps completed by the winner (rounded down to the nearest whole number of laps) will not be deemed finishers in line with the official FIA classification at the time of the podium presentation.
23. How Many Cars Will Fail To Complete The 1st Lap: Bets will be settled based on the number of cars that fail to cross the start/finish line after the first lap, in accordance with the FIA's official Race Lap Chart. Only drivers who start the formation lap will count.
24. How Many Different Drivers Will Lead The Race: Any driver who crosses the start/finish line in the lead will count. For settlement purposes Pole Position counts as leading the race.
25. To How Many Thousandths of a Second Will The Winning Time Be: Official times as recorded by the FIA will be used for settlement purposes.
26. Fastest Pit Stop (Team): Official Pit Stop details as recorded by the FIA on their Race Pit Stop Summary will be used for settlement purposes.
27. First Driver To Make A Pit Stop: Official Pit Stop details as recorded by the FIA on their Race Pit Stop Summary will be used for settlement purposes. Driver must start the formation lap to have action.
28. First Driver To Retire From The Race: Settlement will be determined by which lap number a driver retires on. Should more than one driver retire on the same lap then Dead-Heat rules apply. Formation lap counts.
29. First Car To Retire from The Race: Settlement will be determined by which lap number a car retires on. Should more than one car retire on the same lap then Dead-Heat rules apply. Formation lap counts.
30. Race H2Hs: Bets will be settled based on the driver who achieves the highest finishing position according to the official FIA result, at the time of the podium presentation. If neither driver finishes the race, then the driver who completes the most laps will be deemed the winner. If both drivers retire on the same lap then all bets will be void. Any adjustments to positions after the race will not count.
31. Qualifying/Practice H2Hs: Bets will be settled based on which driver sets the fastest timed lap during the specified session, according to the official FIA result. If either driver fails to complete a timed lap, then all bets will be void.
32. Group Betting: Bets will be settled based on the driver achieving the highest position at the time of the podium presentation, in accordance with the official FIA result. If all drivers in the group fail to be classified then the driver completing the most laps will be deemed the winner. If all drivers in the group fail to be classified and two or more drivers retire on the same lap then dead-heat rules apply. Drivers are grouped together for betting purposes only. Rule 4 may apply.
33. Straight Forecast: The named drivers must finish 1st and 2nd in the specified order. Settlement is based on the result at the time of the podium presentation. Subsequent disqualifications do not count.
34. Straight Tricast: The named drivers must finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the specified order. Settlement is based on the result at the time of the podium presentation. Subsequent disqualifications do not count.
35. Race Specials: Unless stated, selections apply to the race and not to practice or qualifying.
IndyCar:
1. a. The official IndyCar result at the end of the race will be used for settlement purposes. This includes any race which is halted prematurely for any reason. Any subsequent adjustments to finishing positions will not count.
