NHL Draft Live Betting Rules

1. For the proposition "Which player will be selected with the # pick of the 1st Round?":
   1. Wagers will be settled according to the player selected for the specific pick number listed in the proposition.
   2. If the selected player isn’t one of the outcomes offered, the ‘Field’ outcome choices will be settled as the winner.
   3. The outcome will be whichever player is selected at the moment the selection is made. Trades by teams afterwards involving the selection do not count towards the outcome of this proposition.

 

2. For the proposition "What will Team X do with the # pick of the 1st Round?":
   1. Wagers will be settled according to the outcome determined at the time of the listed team’s choice of action is made.
   2. The ‘Trade Pick’ outcome will be settled as the winner if a trade has been announced before the selection of the specified pick listed in the proposition.
   3. The 'Draft Defensemen', 'Draft Forward' and 'Draft Goalie' outcomes will be determined by the player position listed at NHL.com's Prospect Profile by 'Position'.

 

3. For the proposition "How many forwards will be selected in the 1st Round?": Wagers will be settled according to the number of forwards selected in the first round by the data contained at NHL.com’s Prospect Profile by 'Position'.

 

4. For the proposition "How many defensemen will be selected in the 1st Round?": Wagers will be settled according to the number of defensemen selected in the 1st Round by the data contained at NHL.com’s Prospect Profile by 'Position'.

 

5. For the proposition "How many Goalies will be selected in the 1st Round?": Wagers will be settled according to the number of goalies selected in the 1st Round by the data contained at NHL.com’s Prospect Profile by 'Position'.

 

6. For the proposition "Which player will be selected first?":
   1. Wagers will be settled according to whichever player is selected first from the list of potential outcomes. 
   2. If neither of the outcomes offered are selected, wagers will be graded "No Action".

 

7. For the proposition "Which league will have the most players selected in the 1st Round?":  Wagers will be settled according to which league listed has the most players selected in the first round. 

 

8. For the proposition "Will Player X be selected in the 1st Round?":  Wagers will be settled according to whether or not the player listed in the proposition is selected in the first round.

 

9. For the proposition "How many players will be selected from international teams in the 1st Round?":
   1. Wagers will be settled according to the total amount of players from international teams selected in the first round.
   2. International team players are determined by their team previously played for at NHL.com’s Prospect Profile.

 

10. For the proposition "How many trades will be announced during the 1st Round?":
    1. Wagers will be settled according to the total amount of trades announced in the first round.
    2. All disputes pertaining to the proposition outcomes for the NHL Draft will be settled by the data contained at NHL.com. If NHL.com isn't available, the final judgment on grading will be at the sole discretion of Bovada.
